Back To Work: A Guide For Agents

On May 12th PM, Boris Johnson, announced that Estate Agents and Letting Agents could re-open their places of work on High Streets throughout England and begin trading again.
Understandably, Agents have taken their time to put in place all the safety measures necessary to ensure their staff and customers will be protected.
HM Government have issued guidelines for Safe Practice and PropertyMark NAEA have issued a 29 point plan for agents.
We thought it may also be helpful to follow these general practices.
- Wash your hands frequently
- If possible have separate front and rear office access for staff/customers
- All staff and visitors to sanitise hands immediately after entering your offices
- Perspex screens on customer-facing desks
- Maintain the two-metre rule
- Distance markers for staff and visitors
- Clean all - especially high-touch - areas regularly eg door handles etc
- One in/one out to communal areas eg WCs, kitchens, eating areas
- It is recommended to have Hand sanitisers, Gloves and Masks available.
- Make more use of virtual viewings/video tours, especially initially
- Deep clean/disinfect all areas after staff leave at the end of the day
